Purisai Duraisami Kannappa Thambiran Therukoothu Payirchi Palli
The Purisai Duraisami Kannappa Thambiran Parambarai Therukoothu Manram, during 2007 Kalaimamani Kannappa Thambiran Memorial Festival, inaugurated a rehearsal cum performance hall at Purisai village. The hall is a privileged place for the imparting of Koothu learning as well as for experimental theatre work. The first batch of students of the twelve week course have been trained and have performed a koothu on Indrajit in may 2008. The hall is also in use for rehearsals.
The second batch students had intense training for 12 week course and performed “Panchali Sabadham” in April 2009.
The School is conducting a Intensive One month training from Februray Second Week of 2010. Also weekend classes for 15 weeks, at the end of the both workshop there will be a 2 hour Production by the students.
